Where do we begin? There’s something for everyone. Surrounded by magnificent bushland, waterfalls, the Big 5 and much more.

Phiphidi Waterfalls
Only 18 minutes away – Phiphidi Waterfalls, one of several natural sacred locations of the Venda people. It’s an eye-catching cascade of water surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. Phiphidi lies within a forest on the Mutshindudi River. The rock above the waterfall is known as the LanwaDzongolo, and the pool below the waterfall, Guvhukuvhu.

Makonde Mountain
Only 30 minutes away – Makonde Mountain where Nwali, a vhavenda god visited and also the grave of the old man Musethegwa Magwabeni who interpreted for Chief Ravhura when Nwali visited Makonde, the Big Tree in Tshipise and the Maphungubwe National Heritage Park. (Image: Maoungubwe_national_park)

Tshatshingo Potholes
Only 45 Minutes away – Tshatshingo Potholes are a must see, you will find the waters of the Mutale River fall into a naturally formed pothole, they then disappear for some distance before reappearing and continuing on its course. It’s a tranquil setting with river streams, waterfalls and forests. PS: don’t forget to pack a picnic basket!

Entabeni State Forest
Only 55 minutes away – Entabeni State Forest is a part of the state Entabeni plantation and the Soutpansberg-Limpopo Birding Route. It is one of few remaining forests of its type and it harbours some of the province’s most delightful birds. You will find Entabeni Forest on the R524, roughly 35 km’s outside of Louis Trichardt.

Kruger National Park
Only 1 hour away – The world-renowned Kruger National Park covering 2 000 000 hectares of land offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa.
